USDA CA State Director Visits Siskiyou, Announces Investments in Yreka and Mt. Shasta

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) California State Director Kim Dolbow Vann visited Siskiyou communities in early April. During her visit, she announced two significant investments in the Cities of Mt. Shasta and Yreka.

In Yreka, she toured the new site of the Yreka Police Department where the USDA has provided a $3 million loan to finance the police station remodel. Vann also visited with elected officials and city staff from the City of Mt. Shasta where the USDA has provided a $9.2 million loan and $2.9 million grant to improve the city's water infrastructure.
