Siskiyou EDC is Awarded USDA Regional Food System Partnership Funding

Siskiyou Economic Development is one of 36 awardees for the U.S Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Regional Food System Partnership (RFSP). These funds will support the Siskiyou Regional Food System Partnership, a collaborative effort to strengthen local connections between our small farms and large-scale food buyers.

The Siskiyou EDC is working to meet future challenges through innovation. We are creating new agriculture programs, resources and expertise to connect local small farms to viable new markets to create long-term sustainability for one of Siskiyou's most important economic sectors.

New agriculture innovation programs like Siskiyou Farm Co. and the Siskiyou AGccelerator represent some of our most significant and impactful projects this year. Siskiyou County’s agricultural food producers are vital to our county. We are committed to doing our part.
