Siskiyou County food brands such as Prather Ranch, Novy Ranches and Five Marys Farms are examples of local businesses who market to an extensive consumer base. Over the next several years the Siskiyou EDC will provide dedicated technical assistance to further support the advancement of Siskiyou County’s local food economy. Project goals include increased sales of locally raised food brands, and extensive marketing of Siskiyou County as a destination to experience exceptionally raised proteins and local ingredients.

The Siskiyou Economic Development Council has been with working leading producers, Farmers Markets, and business owners to determine how to boost local and national sales of Siskiyou County high-value agriculture and food products.

Siskiyou is home to a fleet of niche food and beverage producers who are paving the way in West Coast markets. In addition to high-value agriculture brands, Siskiyou County is home to Acme Salt Co, Northbound Coffee Roasters, Castle Rock Water, Salt & Savor, Etna Beer and Denny Bar Distillery Co., to name a few.
